Crumb block UFO Finish

Well it is finished. I think I started making these blocks back in 2010. I blogged about them back in 2011 Crumb blocks . Not knowing how to set these blocks. I found that I had to sash them as there was too much fabric to stitch without the sashing. I freemotion quilted on my Janome 8900 memorycraft machine. I haven't named it yet and I think I will leave it draped on a chair for the moment.

Scrappy Quilt

I have been doing a bit of quilting. This quilt top is a free pattern from quiltville.com. Thanks Bonnie for the pattern and inspiration to use some of my scraps.

Its needs a border to be added. The nine patch is made from 2" squares.
