Well it is now April 2022. we are all vaccinated and avoiding covid. I did an on line freemotion quilting class last year. Here is the  wall hanging I made after it. My quilting has improved.

This was quilted on my domestic Janome 8900.

The quilt is a record of the different motifs I learnt on the course. All quilted on my domestic machine.

I have to thank Holly Ann Knight of  String

&Story.com https://www.stringandstory.com/

This course really worked for me.

Code of compliance

Friday was a big day. The inspector came from the council and passed the building of our house. We have been moved in for about 6 weeks.

Now I maybe able to do some more quilting done. I have made a few in the 3 years. Back in 2016 I started The Splendid Sampler quilt I finished it in 2018. The New York beauty quilt I blogged about earlier was also finished in 2018 in time for my quilting groups bi annual quilt show.

I also made this quilt that was sent to a niece in Perth Australia.

New York Beauty

I have been doing a class with Juliet Fitness on the New York Beauty Block. Juliet is a fun teacher and with her help and handy hints has make this block seem easlier than it looks. This is my blocks very colourful. I have enjoyed doing these blocks. I am not sure if this is it or I will add some more block.

It is a wet day here so

looks like a good day for catching up on some of the blocks for the Splendid Sampler as I am way behind.

Crumb block UFO Finish

Well it is finished. I think I started making these blocks back in 2010. I blogged about them back in 2011 Crumb blocks . Not knowing how to set these blocks. I found that I had to sash them as there was too much fabric to stitch without the sashing. I freemotion quilted on my Janome 8900 memorycraft machine. I haven't named it yet and I think I will leave it draped on a chair for the moment.

Jack & Jill Quilt

Thanks Amy for organising  Blogger Quilt festival here. I love looking at everyones wonderful quilts so many ideas to inspire more quilts.
Today I am showing a quilt inspired by some 1980's material I found it my husband's Aunties fabric stash. The quilt I will gift to a new great niece. Who has been named after the Aunt.

It is a cot size. 40" X 30". I quilted it on my Janome Memorycraft 8900. Even tried some of the quilting stitches.
