The latest addition to our tribe. He is doing well and i have been spending a lot of time at his house as his father is working out of town often.
Also a photo to show the progress on the house in Thames. We are getting close to putting the roof on. That will be good. The weather has improved and there is not so much mud around.

Blocks on their way.
Here are the 4 blocks I made, sorry the photo is not very good. They are on their way to Canada where they will be added to other donated blocks and made into a quilt then donated to someone affected by the Sandy storm in the USA.
Otherwise not much quilting going on here. Busy up until xmas then off to Thames for Xmas & New Year. You all have safe & happy Xmas & New Year.

Wearable Arts
Well it has been a while, work seems to be taking up all my time. However I thought you might be interested to see my GD's Wearable Art out fit she made out of recycled denim skirts & jeans & old ties. I thought this was very creative. Not sure what she called it. She is only 10.

Weather Bomb
Early this morning we had a weather bomb pass through our town. We have been lucky only losing our bean fence and clothes line. But many people in the town have lost the roofs off their homes and lots of trees down.
This tree is in the neighbours it has been blown over and uprooted breaking the fence. Scenes like this are all over town. Thank goodness no one has been hurt.
